Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Sudbury

Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months

Salary: -12.60 per hour

Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will:

  • Receive and check incoming goods for accuracy
  • organise and store products in designated areas
  • Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, as required

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of order picking and packing processes
  • Previous experience in a transport and logistics role

Technologies:

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Inventory tracking software
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
