Warehouse Operative

Osborne Appointments have an exciting opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative with our client based in Magor with guaranteed hours.

This role will be ongoing and is a great opportunity to join the company that offers training, excellent benefits and have friendly work environment.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be working for one of the UK’s leading food and drink wholesaler.

Warehouse Operative shifts:

Rotating shift - Any 5 out of 7 on a rota basis

• Week 1: 06:00am - 14:00pm
  Week 2: 14:00pm - 22:00pm 
• Pay: £14.13 , Overtime: £21.20

*Please note the training for this role will be 06:00-14:00, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Operative:

• Pick orders accurately and efficiently using hand-held scanners
• Load picked items onto pallets, ensuring they are stacked securely and safely.
• Label pallets and prepare them for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize work assignments.

Requirements for Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center, particularly in order picking and pallet loading.
• Familiarity with using hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times
