Warehouse Operative

Know How Resourcing-are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker (Picker/Packer) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring that all products are stored and dispatched correctly.

Shift: Monday-Friday-8.15am till 5pm

Duties

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently
• Perform picking & packing of orders accurately
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Support stocking activities to ensure shelves are replenished as needed
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and productivity

Skills

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
• Proficiency in forklift operation is advantageous
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 is beneficial
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience in materials handling, including heavy lifting capabilities
• Ability to perform construction-related tasks when necessary
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team
