Warehouse Operative

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting Warehouse Operative to join our team in Liverpool, L24. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry. The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the accurate processing and movement of shipments, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.

Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (desirable).
* Willingness to undertake DG training.
* Basic operational processing skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Physically fit and able to lift up to 40kgs.

Key Responsibilities
* Basic OB shipment processing.
* Provide cover for vehicle setup duties in the absence of the Ops Agent (full UK driving licence required).
* Potential for DG Cat 6 exam if the role becomes permanent.
* Logistics & Movement: Load, off-load, and transfer shipments within the warehouse and yard, making sure nothing is left behind.
* Warehouse Setup: Support the setup of inbound and outbound operations, including export truck departure activities.
* Forklift Operations: Operate a forklift where needed (training provided if role becomes permanent).
* Equipment & Safety: Maintain operational equipment and report any faults immediately.
* Compliance & Security: Follow company policies, customs requirements, and local laws; report any unusual incidents or security breaches.
* Process Area Maintenance: Keep operational areas clean, safe, and ready for the next cycle.
* Customer & Team Support: Assist with customer queries and provide general support to colleagues.

Pay & Shifts
* Operations Processor: -12.50 per hour
* Operations Processor - Premium Shift (19:00 - 08:00): -15.15 per hour
* Operations Processor - Saturday: -13.68 per hour
* Operations Processor - Sunday: -14.70 per hour
* Operations Processor - OT: -18.75 per hour
Overtime is paid after 40/45 hours per week depending on job role.
Shift (Ops Agent): Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 20:30
