Warehouse Operative

Job description:

RSW are seeking a dedicated Picker- Packer to join our Client's dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment, maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the packing process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
• Assist in materials handling, ensuring that products are stored in designated areas and easily accessible for order fulfilment.
• Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
• Operate machinery as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties.
• Proficiency in picking and packing techniques to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Familiarity with materials handling procedures and best practices.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality control processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Monday- Thursday 08.00-16.30

Friday 08.00-15.30
