The Role of Warehouse Operative:
- Stock: Maintaining inventory accuracy, including inventory checks.
- Loading and Unloading: Handling goods, including loading/unloading delivery vehicles and moving items throughout the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Picking and Packing Orders: Accurately selecting and packing customer orders for shipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Working with team members to meet daily productivity targets and process improvements.
To be considered for Warehouse Operative:
- Fork Truck Licence: Counter Balance and/or Reach
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory accountability.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, report and/or resolve issues related to stock or equipment.
- Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using warehouse/goods in-out systems.
- Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- You must be able to drive and have your own transport, due to the location of the office.
The Package for Warehouse Operative:
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Mon - Fri
Performance related bonus
23 day holiday, plus bank holidays
