Warehouse Operative

Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team at a client of ours. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including stock handling, order fulfilment, and inventory management. Duties Handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery (training provided) Managing stock levels using the warehouse management system (WMS) Loading and unloading goods from lorries and containers Conducting quality control checks to ensure product integrity Assisting with shipping and receiving processes Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace at all times Supporting mechanical maintenance tasks where required Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (certification desirable) Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous Experience in shipping and receiving processes, picking and packing, stocking, and load and unload activities Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for ..... full job details .....
