Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse environment. Duties

• Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and storage areas
• Wrapping and arranging pallets in the goods in/goods out areas of the warehouse.
• Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements
• Managing stock levels using a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements
• Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain standards
• Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times during daily operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including load and unload tasks
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and stock control
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
