Warehouse Operative

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy logistics operation based in Banbury, OX16. We are looking for reliable and hardworking people who are comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse experience is useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for ongoing work where you can develop your warehouse experience and gain MHE training. Shift Pattern You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern: Days: 06:00 to 18:00 Nights: 18:00 to 06:00 Pay Rates Day Shift: 13.44 to 13.94 per hour Night Shift: 14.44 to 14.94 per hour What will you be doing? Picking customer orders accurately Using handheld scanners and Radio Data Terminals Building and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch Loading and unloading deliveries Checking incoming stock for quantity and quality Moving and putting away stock within the warehouse Replenishing picking locations Using the Warehouse Management System Keeping your working area clean and safe Supporting the wider warehouse team when required MHE Training and Development Everyone who successfully completes the induction day will receive PPT training, so you do not need to already hold a PPT licence. Once trained and confident on PPT, there will also be opportunities to progress onto additional MHE training, including Reach Truck and VNA.
