Warehouse Operative (Assembly) - Temporary ContractWe are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our team of agency workers assembling wheel-based metal cages at our busy warehouse facility for our client based in Widnes, WA8 0PB. After end of the contract, you will be offered to move to the main tray-wash shit on 4 on 4 off rotation role from December 2026Role OverviewAs a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the assembly of metal cages using basic tools, ensuring all products are built to the required standard and safety guidelines.Key Responsibilities Assembling wheel-based metal cages Using basic hand tools safely and effectively Maintaining a clean and organised workspace Following health and safety procedures at all times Meeting daily productivity targetsWorking Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 Unpaid 30 min break a dayPay Rate 12.71 per hourContract Details 4-month temporary contract Opportunity to transition into the main operation (tray wash/recycle) upon completion Progression and extension of the assignment to a 4 on / 4 off rotational shift pattern (subject to performance and availability) at the end of the 4 months contractRequirements No previous experience required - full training provided Good level of manual dexterity Ability to use basic tools Reliable, punctual, and motivated Physically capable of manual work Must be 18 and overWhat We Offer Immediate start available Full training provided Opportunity for long-term ..... full job details .....
