They are looking to recruit an Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to support their busy warehouse and stores department.This is a varied, hands on position involving warehouse operations, FLT driving, stock control, goods in/goods out and the movement of machinery parts and equipment. The role of Warehouse Operative / FLT DriverAs the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse and stores areas remain organised, safe and efficient.The Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver will handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, maintain accurate stock records and support the movement of parts, materials and equipment across the site. Key responsibilities of Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver • Operating an FLT safely and efficiently • Receiving, checking and processing incoming deliveries • Preparing and managing outgoing goods • Booking parts and materials in and out of the system • Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records • Organising and maintaining the warehouse and stores areas • Moving machinery parts, materials and equipment safely • Using lifting equipment, including jigs, hoists and rigs • Updating stock and delivery information using SAP or a similar ERP system • Completing relevant paperwork and documentation accurately • ..... full job details .....
