Warehouse Operative PPT DriverLocation: WorksopHours: Day shift, either 7am 3pm or 8am 4pm, with overtime opportunities available.Start Date: ASAP. This position is a temp to perm position.Duties of a Warehouse Operative: Operate a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) safely and efficiently to move stock around the warehouse.Pick, move and prepare stock for dispatch in line with operational requirements.Load, unload and transport pallets safely within the warehouse.Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities, ensuring stock is handled correctly.Check stock and deliveries for accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.Ensure pallets are moved and stored in the correct locations.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow all site health and safety procedures and operational guidelines.Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met. What we are looking for: A valid PPT licence/certificate is essential.Previous experience operating a powered pallet truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.Previous warehouse experience, ideally involving goods-in, goods-out or dispatch.Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.A reliable, proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work either advertised day shift and undertake overtime when required.Availability to start ASAP.
