Warehouse Operative & Relief Driver

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Relief Delivery Driver for a refurbishment company in Chesterfield. This is a temporary to permanent role with an immediate start available.

The Role

You’ll mainly be based in the warehouse as a Production Operative, with occasional shifts as a Relief Van Driver when required.

Warehouse duties include:

                    •                 Preparing products for refurbishment (scraping labels, shot blasting prep)

                    •                 Filling, pressure testing, and painting products

                    •                 Quality testing and re-packing

                    •                 Organising stock ready for dispatch

                    •                 Loading and unloading (up to 15kg)

Driving duties include:

                    •                 Multi-drop van driving across the UK (including Central London)

                    •                 Following delivery schedules safely and efficiently

                    •                 Face-to-face customer service and product handling

                    •                 Loading and unloading products (up to 15kg)

Pay & Hours

                    •                 £12.21 per hour (warehouse)

                    •                 £13.20 per hour (relief delivery driving)

                    •                 Monday to Friday, 8am–5:30pm (driving hours may vary)

                    •                 Full-time, consistent shifts

What We’re Looking For

                    •                 Clean UK driving licence (max 3 points)

                    •                 Previous van driving experience (multi-drop preferred)

                    •                 Team player with good communication skills

                    •                 Friendly, polite, and professional with customers

                    •                 Strong attention to detail in warehouse tasks
