Details: Hours: AM - Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, PM 16:00 to 00:00 ROTATING, (2 weeks of AM and then 2 weeks PM) Or Nights Monday 00:00 to Friday 0800, Fixed Rate of Pay AM: £14.48, PM: £15.37 Requirements of a Warehouse Operative: Experience working in a busy warehouse environmentAbility to work at height for long periods of time - 18m highBasic numeracy and literacy skillsGood communication skillsAbility to be able to lift items that can be up to 32kg in weight. Duties of a Warehouse Operative: Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 18m high.Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on siteMoving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locationsManual duties such as picking, replenishment and handballingSupport with loading and unloading delivery vehiclesPerform daily safety checks on equipment before usageGeneral housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environmentAll work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment Benefits of a Warehouse Operative: Upskilling to an MHE RoleOngoing, regular workFun working environmentVarious ..... full job details .....
