Warehouse Operative Location: Newbury, BerkshireHours: 08:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 08:30am - 4:00pm FridaySalary: £12.71 per hourContract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing business based on the outskirts of Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in delivering accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of stock control and health and safety. Key Responsibilities Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently. Receiving and processing stock deliveries. Supporting stock control and inventory management processes. Assisting with regular stock takes and maintaining stock accuracy. Ensuring timely and accurate distribution of goods. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Reporting any equipment faults or maintenance requirements. Following all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.
