Warehouse Operative

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Location: Long Crendon

Start: ASAP
Pay: -12.82 per hour

Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We''re looking for a hands-on and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a small, friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of warehouse work and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

This role is starting on an immediate basis. Due to the location, you will be required to have your own transport, as no public transport operates near site.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, Packing & Dispatch

• Accurately picking items according to order lists
• Packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
• Ensuring all outgoing goods meet quality and packaging standards
• Working efficiently to complete daily order requirements

Stock Handling & Organisation

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Unloading goods and moving items to correct stock locations
• Updating stock areas and maintaining correct product placement
• Rotating stock when needed and identifying damaged items

Forklift Operation (Occasional)

• Operating a counterbalance forklift when required
• Assisting with pallet movements, unloading deliveries, and relocating bulk items
• Carrying out safety checks and following forklift safety guidelines

What You''ll Need

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (ideal - but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Reliability and readiness to get stuck in
