Adecco are working with a global leading employer based in Burntwood. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for a long-term career.

Our client offers 33 days holiday per year, a great basic wage plus overtime allowances.

Reporting to the Warehouse Team leader the primary function of this role is to perform daily warehouse tasks ensuring logistics targets are achieved, including company objectives, guidelines, procedures & workflows, that are so important to the industry.

2. Tasks and Responsibilities

• Packing and Labelling of customer orders based on Shipping or Packaging Instructions outofERP like:
  • Print messages
  • Work instructions
  • Work Orders
• Final Inspection and Verification of shipments and preparation of shipping documentation like e.g. delivery bill
• Dispatch of Orders via different shipping systems
• Hand Over of shipments to transportation companies
• Manage Customer Portals if required
• Replenishment of the workspace with packaging and other related work materials
• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement projects or operational excellence programs like 5S, FOD, Engagement activities etc.

3. Education and Experience

• Fluent in English, both reading/writing
• Work experience in Logistics or Production related work environment
• PC knowledge and experience
• Cost- and Quality Awareness as well as customer focus
• Team player with good sense and understanding of different cultures

- Time and a Half / Time and a Third Overtime rates

- 33 days holiday per year

- Monday to Thursday - 7am-3:30pm / Friday''s 7.00am-1pm - 6am-2:30pm / Friday''s 6.00am-1pm
