Warehouse Operative

Active Staff are proud to be working with our client who are on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join the distribution team. The role of the Warehouse packer will be to ensure timely, accurate and safe preparation and despatch of goods to customers. The hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm Benefits for the Warehouse Operative: Free Parking on site Pension Social events Medicash Breakfast paid by the company (once a month) Pizza Friday paid by the company (once a month) 25 Days Holiday +BH Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative: Pick, pack and despatch products in line with sales orders and shipping documentation to meet customer orders Verify quantities, part numbers and condition of goods prior to despatch Ensure correct packaging methods to protect and prevent damage to products Label, palletise and securely pack products for despatch Complete despatch paperwork and update Warehouse ERP system Report discrepancies, damages or issues to the correct department prior shipping The person for the Warehouse Operative: Ability to be on your feet all day and lift up to 20kg Previous Warehouse experience Computer/IT literate Attention to detail and reliability is essential.
