As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive, store, track and ship goods inside a distribution centre. What We Offer From £14.00 per hour. Monday to Friday, 8:30am-430pm. Temporary 4-week assignment, but could be longer. On-site parking. Opportunity to work for a large international company. Safe and caring working environment. Key Duties Receiving and unloading: Unload incoming deliveries from trucks, check paperwork and inspect items for damage or missing parts. Picking and packing: Select correct items from shelves, place them into boxes and add labels or barcodes. Moving stock: Transport heavy goods and pallets around the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks or forklifts. Inventory control: Scan barcodes, count inventory and record stock levels on a computer or digital system. Loading and dispatch: Pack and load finished orders onto vehicles for delivery. Cleaning and safety: Sweep floors, tidy workstations and follow safety rules to keep the workspace safe. Requirements Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative.
