Warehouse Operative (4 On / 4 Off – 12 Hour Shifts)

Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our busy courier warehouse operation at Heathrow. This role involves handling packages and freight, breaking down inbound shipments, sorting items by destination, and loading consignments onto conveyor belts for direct loading into delivery vans.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort parcels according to destination, route, or delivery area.
• Lift, move, and handle packages manually and place sorted parcels onto the correct conveyor/loading belt for dispatch.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within operational deadlines.
• Keep the warehouse , organised, and free from hazards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:-

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move parcels throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• DBS and PCC (if living in the uk less than 5 years)
• 5 year check-
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Previous warehouse or courier experience.
• Experience using warehouse scanners or handling freight.
• Forklift licence (not essential).
