Warehouse Operations Manager

A growing and well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead its on-site warehouse and internal logistics operation. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for driving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and high standards across a fast-paced production environment.Reporting into the Supply Chain leadership team, you will take full responsibility for warehouse operations, ensuring materials and finished goods flow effectively to support production and customer demand.Key responsibilities include:Leading day-to-day warehouse and internal logistics operations, including goods-in, storage, and dispatchMaintaining accountability for inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsDriving stock control processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, and root cause analysisOptimising warehouse layout, material flow, and storage strategies to maximise efficiencyCollaborating with Production, Planning, and Procurement teams to ensure material availabilityMonitoring key KPIs including inventory accuracy, labour productivity, and service levelsLeading, developing, and motivating a warehouse team to deliver operational excellenceImplementing and improving SOPs, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / 5S)Ensuring high standards of health and safety, quality, and compliance across all warehouse activitiesSupporting logistics coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective transport of ..... full job details .....
