Warehouse Operaative

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Warehouse Operative based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temp to perm  basis. 

 Summary of the Warehouse Operative role 

Salary: £12.71 per hour 
Location: Bedford 
Type of Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 40 hour working week – Monday– Thursday – 8.30am-5.30pm Friday – 8am– 5pm

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative

• Picking and packing products ready for dispatch
• General production duties
• Housekeeping duties – keeping your work area clean and tidy
• Meet dispatch deadlines and targets
• Put away correctly and locate stock
• Maintain filing systems for despatch paperwork
• Carrying out periodic zone, location and inventory checks
• Adjust company computer-based records as and when needed
• Assist in any investigations and resolutions of stock count discrepancies

Requirements for a successful Warehouse Operative

•  Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
•  Previous picking and packing experience
• Team player
• Attention to detail
