Warehouse Operative with Flexi FLT Licence & Assembly Training Opportunity

Location: Chelmsford

We are currently seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Flexi Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join our client''s dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your skill set by learning assembly tasks alongside core warehouse responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Safely load and unload deliveries from transport and customer vehicles
• Check incoming stock for damage and report discrepancies to the line manager
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch, including wrapping and labelling
• Locate and record goods in racking systems, ensuring accurate stock control
• Process shipments via the DPD system
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and yard
• Separate recyclable materials such as metals and packaging
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including proper use of PPE
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently

Forklift Duties

• Operate Flexi FLT trucks to support warehouse operations
• Move stock and assembled parts safely and accurately

Assembly Training & Support

• Learn to assemble components ready for shipment
• Assist with electrical wiring of motors and cable assemblies
• Use balancing systems to ensure product quality
• Support Quality and Service departments with internal and external tasks

Requirements

• Valid Flexi FLT licence
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in assembly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to health and safety standards
