Spares Warehouse Operative - Banbury - Full-Time

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a background in warehousing, stores, or spares£ We''re recruiting for a Spares Warehouse Operative to join a busy and dynamic team in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

What You''ll Be Doing:

- Rotating across goods-in, picking/despatch, and site request duties
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods
- Packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Assembling system components and site equipment
- Managing stock levels and performing rolling inventory checks
- Creating commercial invoices for international shipments
- Operating forklifts and assisting with deliveries and collections
- Supporting with general repairs, PAT testing, and fabrication tasks

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate picking and packing of parts
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised workspaces
- Collaborate with technical and purchasing teams
- Inspect returned tools and warranty items
- Participate in stocktaking and out-of-hours call-out rota

What Our Client is Looking For:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or spares environment
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic IT literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of Health and Safety practices
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel locally

Desirable Extras

- NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage
- First Aid or Health and Safety certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage)
- Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement

Salary: £26,740 per annum
Call-Outs: One week per month, paid at £200 for being on call, plus an additional £50 if called out
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
