Warehouse Material Operator - NewportWe are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Material Operator to join our growing team in Newport. This is a fast-paced role within a global organization, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and values safety and efficiency.The RoleAs a Warehouse Material Operator, you will be responsible for the flow of goods through our facility-from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products to our customers.Pay Rate: 13.45 per hourHours: 35 hours per week (Overtime available)Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, alternating 07:00-15:00 and 13:00-21:00 (Rotational).Location: Onsite, NewportContract: 3 months initial, with high potential for extension or permanent conversion.Key ResponsibilitiesStock Management: Pick, pack, and palletize customer orders and finished goods.Operations: Load/unload delivery vehicles and move stock to designated warehouse locations.Inventory Control: Perform regular PI (Perpetual Inventory) counts to ensure accuracy.Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean, safe workspace (5S standards) and actively work to reduce waste or product damage.Flexibility: Support various warehouse zones, including the "materials highway" and environmental areas.What We''re Looking ForExperience: At least 2 years in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Technical Skills: Side-loading forklift experience is essential.Digital Literacy: Comfortable using computers for inventory and processing tasks.Aptitude: Strong numeracy and ..... full job details .....
