Warehouse ManagerWe are working with an established and market-leading, independent supply and distribution company who work with Nationwide clients.They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage their warehouse team.£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)Based in ChessingtonFree onsite parkingKey Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the General Manager and Company DirectorsResponsible for leading and managing a team or circa 30, including two supervisorsMotivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceededOrganise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progressHave a clear understanding of the company''s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to theseUse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are metCoordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goodsCoordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessaryRespond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephoneKeep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accuratePlan future capacity requirementsMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environmentOversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipmentWhere appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and ..... full job details .....
