Warehouse ManagerLocation: LeicesterSalary: 40,000 per annumJob Type: Full-time, PermanentThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Leicester.This is a hands-on management position, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and ensuring materials and finished goods are received, stored and dispatched safely, efficiently and accurately.A key requirement for this position is experience and awareness of hazardous chemicals and the restrictions surrounding their safe storage, handling and movement. This is an essential requirement for the role.You will lead a warehouse team and work closely with other areas of the business to maintain stock availability, improve processes and ensure consistently high operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day warehouse operation.Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team.Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock checks.Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and operational issues.Work closely with production, purchasing, sales and logistics teams.Ensure goods are handled, stored and dispatched safely and correctly.Ensure hazardous chemicals and materials are handled, stored and moved in accordance with relevant safety requirements and company procedures.Ensure appropriate controls are in place for hazardous substances, including ..... full job details .....
