Warehouse Manager

A FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Warehouse Manager to koin thier supply chain team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, driving operational efficiency, and contributing to the company''s reputation as a leader in the packaging industry. This position offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your organisational skills, leadership abilities, and passion for continuous improvement.Salary £45,000 to £50,000 plus Benefits What You Will Do:- Champion and promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all warehouse activities align with established safety guidelines.- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS), conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.- Oversee the receiving of goods from suppliers, ensuring timely unloading, inspection, and storage.- Manage shipping operations to guarantee on-time delivery to customers and internal departments, while ensuring all shipping documentation complies with regulations.- Analyse current warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance space utilisation.- Coordinate waste management activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and exploring reusable packaging streams with suppliers and customers.
