Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader to join a growing business, managing warehouse activities, driving efficiencies, and ensuring high standards of stock control, customer service, and health & safety.

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, leading a warehouse team and ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will also work closely with third-party storage facilities and internal departments to maintain visibility and control of stock across the business.

Working Hours: 08:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Friday Finish: 4:30pm every Friday.

• Manage the daily operation of the warehouse.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
• Coordinate stock movements between suppliers, customers, and external warehouse locations.
• Liaise with third-party logistics and warehouse providers.
• Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and optimise storage utilisation.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and stock accuracy.
• Develop and monitor warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or Senior Warehouse Operative looking for the next step.
• Proven experience leading and developing warehouse teams.
• Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and external partners.
• A practical, hands-on approach with a solutions-focused mindset.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience (desirable).

Salary will be offered based on the successful candidate''s experience, skills, and overall suitability for the role.

The holiday entitlement is 28 days per year, inclusive of bank holidays.
