Warehouse manager - E-commerce Freight

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and develop our warehouse operation within a growing freight and e-commerce environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse performance, maintaining compliance standards, implementing operational improvements, and leading a team to achieve high levels of productivity, accuracy, and customer service.This role requires a hands-on manager with strong freight and warehouse experience, excellent systems knowledge, and a proactive approach to process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.Ensure full compliance with ETSF requirements, customs procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.Implement and improve warehouse processes, systems, and operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service levels.Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, and warehouse housekeeping standards.Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and scanning technology to maximise operational performance and traceability.Monitor KPIs and operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and staff training where required.Work closely with ..... full job details .....
