We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Team Leader / Stores Manager to take full ownership of warehouse operations and lead a dedicated team of Warehouse Operatives within a dynamic and growing product development and manufacturing business.

Your background as a Warehouse Manager:

• Proven experience in warehouse management / stores management with measurable success ideally within an engineering or manufacturing business.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse / stores operations, stock control, and logistics.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

• You will oversee all aspects of receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety at every stage.
• Lead, motivate, and support a small warehouse operatives team to achieve operational targets.
• Maintain accurate product receiving, storage, and retrieval for Production and Spares.
• Maintain high standards for product handling, storage, and shipping.
• Keep the site organised and compliant with safety standards.
• Monitor KPIs and implement process enhancements.

This Warehouse Manager job is commutable from Derby, Duffield, Hilton, Ashbourne, Burton upon Trent, Mackworth, Belper, Mickleover, Sudbury, Repton.
