Warehouse Manager

Our client is looking for a reliable, proactive, and motivated Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations.
This is a key role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and in line with established methods and procedures.
You’ll be leading a team of both full-time and temporary staff, managing productivity targets, and ensuring exceptional service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations across two sites
- Ensure all staff are trained, productive, and working to agreed processes
- Liaise closely with the Operations Director to align on business priorities
- Maintain control of stock and space across both warehouses
- Manage warehouse assets and ensure all equipment is maintained
- Drive operational efficiency to meet strict despatch deadlines
- Handle staffing: including holiday planning, sickness cover, training and performance
- Maintain and improve health & safety standards across all warehouse activity
- Ensure smooth handling of returns, stock consolidations and inventory accuracy
- Support the team during busy periods or staff absences by stepping into hands-on roles where needed
- Conduct regular team meetings and annual performance reviews
- Monitor and manage operational supplies, liaising with accounts as required

- Someone who values structure and consistency, but can think on their feet
- Strong communicator, comfortable working closely with both internal teams and external clients
- Calm under pressure, proactive in solving problems before they escalate
- Experienced with stock management and health & safety compliance
