Warehouse Manager

First Choice Staff are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join a great team in Hayes!

You will be reporting to the Airfreight Director and will maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the Warehouse, as well as the Operation Teams.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

-Achieve warehouse operational objectives by recommending and reviewing current practices; prepare and complete action plans; resolve problems and identify trends.

-Ensuring productivity targets are met.

-Adherence to Health and Safety Executive requirements for the whole site.

-Maintain the security of the warehouse and safeguard property.

-Comply with aviation security regulations including but not limited to; carrying out audits, attending meetings with the security managers.

-Demonstrate and apply financial and commercial understanding of the business to manage costs and maximise financial return.

-Plan the orders for delivery and pickup to meet customer schedules.

-Ensure stock takes are completed regularly, any discrepancies are dealt with and communicated in a timely manner.

-Train and develop the warehouse team, as well as monitor and manage performance.

-Produce regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance.

-Work with facilities concerning any building issues.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 0800am - 1800pm

Salary: Up to -55,000
