Connect Appointments is recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join an established business based in East Kilbride.Our client distributes specialist food equipment to commercial customers across the UK, requiring a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of three busy warehouses and lead a team of seven, reporting directly to the company directors.What''s on offer?Full-time permanent position 45,000 per annumAs a Warehouse Manager, your duties will include:Managing the day-to-day running of three warehouses and leading a team of seven operatorsEnsuring customer orders are picked accurately, packed and delivered on timeOverseeing container deliveries, stock location and warehouse re-profiling to suit business needsManaging stock and inventory reconciliation, supplier costs and staff training and developmentTaking ownership of fleet and equipment compliance, ensuring all vans and forklifts are legal, maintained and inspectedTo be considered as a Warehouse Manager, you will need:Proven experience managing a busy warehouse operation and leading a teamStrong knowledge of stock control, inventory systems and health and safety complianceExperience managing fleet and equipment maintenance and complianceGood Excel skills for producing checklists and location sheetsA hands-on, organised approach with strong leadership and problem-solving skillsInterested in this Warehouse Manager role?
