Location: WaterlipSalary: £40000Summary: My client, a leading logistics business are looking for a Warehouse Manager to run their well established operation in WaterlipKey Responsibilities:To manage the overall success of the warehouse operation at WaterlipPlan, organise and manage the work of the warehouse team to ensure daily input and output targets are achievedStrategically manage the warehouse in compliance with all aspects of health and safetyEnsure all housekeeping duties and records are kept up to date and recordedPlan your time effectively to manage and support the team and to delegate tasks as requiredMotivate the team to ensure all operational tasks are completed on timeEnsure all inbound and outbound movements are planned, coordinated and monitored by the teamKey Skills/Experience:You will have extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industriesHaving a good understanding of computer and warehouse management systemsExperience of leading a team and working to agreed targetsUnderstanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, packing, stock management and loadingA forklift license (both counterbalance and reach truck) is preferableFlexibility to task and hoursUnderstanding of KPIsProcessing Your DataBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
