Warehouse Manager - Walsall - 3 Years

Approach Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for a reputable client based in Walsall for a project slated to last up-to 3 years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring-the safe receipt, storage and distribution of goods whilst maintaining high standards of efficiency, customer service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure stock accuracy and maintain the security and integrity of warehouse products.
• Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety and company procedures at all times.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management of warehouse employees.

Role Requirements:

• Data Analytics: Ability to analyze-Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)-such as order pick accuracy, inventory turnover, and dock-to-stock time.

• Inventory Control: Expertise in cycle counting, demand forecasting, and-auditing methodologies-to minimize shrinkage and stockouts.

• Supply Chain Logic: Understanding of-logistics routing, cross-docking, and reverse logistics processes.

• Team Leadership: Proven capability to-recruit, train, schedule, and motivate-diverse shifts of warehouse floor staff.
• Conflict Resolution: Ability to quickly manage and-resolve workplace disputes-under high-stress peak seasons.
• Clear Communication: Skill in translating corporate logistics goals into-clear daily instructions-for warehouse operators.

• Change Management: Capacity to smoothly guide the team through-technological upgrades-or layout reorganizations.
