About the Role
A Warehouse Forklift Operative is required at a Corby food manufacturer, offered via Pertemps Northampton on a permanent, full-time contract. The role combines general warehouse duties with counterbalance truck operation, involving loading, unloading, and stock movement. The continental shift pattern is fixed, alternating days (06.00-18.00) and nights (18.00-06.00) across a rotating weekly schedule. Candidates must have a valid forklift licence and previous experience in a similar setting. The salary is £34,706 per annum during the three-month probation, rising to £40,831 after this period. Forty-two hours are worked each week. Only applicants able to commit to the specified, non-negotiable rota should apply.

Pertemps are recruiting for multiple Warehouse & Forklift drivers for a food manufacturing client based in Corby. Our client is offering a stable working environment, and you will be joining a long-established team that are ready to welcome you.
Role Responsibilities:
To perform all tasks within the Warehouse & Forklift operative’s role, after full training, to 100% compliance
Perform all aspects of the operative functions in a diligent manner, whilst ensuring health and safety standards are not compromised
To maintain solid operating basis in terms of good manufacturing practices
Ensure full compliance of all sites-based systems, such as ISO 9002, HACCP, Health & Safety site standards and policies, environment standards and Investors in People
To help support and identify operational synergies that would enhance continuous improvement within the Operational team.
To ensure that any product wastage is kept to a minimum
Any other reasonable management request
Experience fast moving Food Manufacturing environment.
Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and pest control and familiarity with relevant food legislation – desirable!

Reasonable standard of computer literacy - The Warehouse Team have to send/respond/monitor emails daily and we also use the stock control system quite heavily.
