Warehouse / Forklift Operative

My client in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire looking for a Warehouse Operative with forklift experience in the last 3 years. (Have your own licence or an inhouse one)

This role is to work in the spare parts despatch dept and the successful candidate will be working within our busy warehouse picking, packing andamp; despatching spare parts and equipment.
As a Warehouse operative you would oversee the Picking andamp; Packing of Customers Orders on a wide range of goods, Goods In andamp; Stock Replenishing. Must be able to manage processes and systems.
Other duties:

• Picking andamp; Packing Customers Orders and Preparing for despatch
• Goods return process and Stock Replenishing
• Loading and unloading Vehicles when necessary.
• Communicate with other members of staff on arrival and dispatch of goods.
• Co-ordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary.
• Responding to and dealing with internal communication by email and telephone.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.
• Liaising with transport companies.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Maintaining standards of health and safety and hygiene.
• You will be standing andamp; moving most of the day with elements of manual lifting,
• Having a clear understanding of the company''s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.

Requirements

• Basic IT skills such as ability to send and receive emails.
• Fork Lift licence (counterbalance)
• Full UK driving licence and transport needed to get to work

Job Details
Hours Mon-Thurs 8.30am - 5.00pm Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm, Salary from £26+ depending on experience, 25 days holiday, pension contribution 3%, 3 months'' probation, summer and Christmas parties.
