Warehouse Operative - FLT

Pay: -13.95 - -15.50p/h

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 1.30pm & 1.30pm - 10pm. Rotating shifts weekly.

Location: Huddersfield

Duration: Temporary - Ongoing 3 months minimum (Temporary and Temporary - Permanent vacancies available)

We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the UK''s leading manufacturers of household and health care products, for a Warehouse operative to join their busy team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Moving pallets from production to the warehouse.
• Operating Pallet Truck.
• Use a pallet wrapping machine when receiving pallets from production.
• Using a pick list to locate and feed goods to production.
• React to urgent requests from production when product is required at short notice.
• Removing wrap and shrouds and ensure pallets are presented free of dust/dirt.
• Keeping the warehouse clean.
• Move pallets from warehouse to storage locations.

Essentials Skills Required:

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse
• Ability to work independently using own initiative.
• Strong communication.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Current holder of PPT FLT license (Powered Pallet Truck)
• Basic computer skills - experience using SAP advantageous but not essential as training can be given.
