The Company Sharpak Aylesham is a manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging for use in the Fresh Produce and Food Service divisions. Role Purpose: The purpose of the role is to assist the warehouse Team Leaders and Managers to ensure the smooth running of all warehouse duties, loading or unloading of trailers, full pallet and case picking, receiving stock, cleaning and cycle counts. Working both alone and as part of a team, this role is a combination of using mechanical handling equipment and manual handling. Shifts Available: Nights (10pm-6am) Rotating Days (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm) Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for location of stock receipts into the warehouse after ensuring that the paperwork and goods are correct, raising any discrepancies to the Team Leaders and Managers. Responsibility for picking goods from stock as and when required as directed by the Team Leaders or Managers. Operation of mechanical handling equipment (Counterbalance, Pivot, Reach and Pedestrian pallet trucks) to move pallets around the warehouse in order to meet business needs.
