About the Role
Based in Moxley, this full-time Warehouse / FLT Driver position offers a varied workload combining counterbalance truck operation with core warehouse duties. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, you will earn £12.71 per hour on an ongoing temporary assignment through Pertemps Black Country Perms. Responsibilities include safely operating the counterbalance FLT, loading and unloading deliveries, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and relocating stock across the facility. A valid counterbalance licence is essential. This hands-on role suits a dependable individual who values physical work and consistent hours. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join their busy warehouse team on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a varied role combining forklift truck operation with general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse and assisting with stock organisation.
- Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
- Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- Has previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has good attention to detail and can follow health and safety procedures.
- Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties when required.
