Warehouse Operative and Stock Control Contract Type: Full-time Temp to PermTemporary hourly rate: £13.70 per hourWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexibility required)Department: Warehouse / OperationsReports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations ManagerJob PurposeTo support warehouse operations through accurate administration and stock control within a pharmaceutical and medical distribution and storage environment. The role supports frozen, chilled, and ambient products, ensuring stock accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of customer service. This is a customer-focused role acting as a link between warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Administration• Accurate data input and maintenance on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)• Process inbound and outbound documentation in line with SOPs and GDP standards• Maintain batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock movement records• Label cartons and pallets accurately• Ensure documentation is audit-readyStock Control• Maintain accurate stock levels across frozen, chilled, and ambient storage• Carry out cycle counts and support full stock takes• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies• Monitor short-dated, expired, damaged, or quarantined stock• Ensure FEFO principles are followedCustomer and Order Support• Handle occasional customer calls regarding orders and deliveries• Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries• Support order processing and dispatch ..... full job details .....
