Warehouse OperativeJob Type: Full-time - TemporaryLocation: HorshamShift: Within the hours of 8am and 10pmSalary: £25-27kAre you looking to join a collaborative warehouse team who are looking for a warehouse operative to bring on board? You will be instrumental in the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, and packing goods, managing inventory, and operating warehouse machinery. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and organised working environment.Day-to-day of the role:Receiving and Storing Goods: Unload deliveries, inspect goods for damage, and ensure they are stored correctly.Picking and Packing Orders: Accurately select items from stock and prepare them for shipment.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensure proper stock rotation and perform stock checks.Operating Warehouse Equipment: Utilise equipment such as forklifts to move goods around the warehouse.Maintaining a Safe and Clean Environment: Adhere to safety protocols, clean up spills, and ensure the warehouse is tidy and organised.Additional Duties: Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensure goods are secured for transport, enter order information into systems, generate shipping labels and prepare goods for dispatch.
