Warehouse Assistant

This is a super role for somebody who would like to work within a very nice warehouse / stores for a fantastic company. Ideally you will have some warehouse experience or related experience.Our client, who is a market leading manufacturer in the Building Controls industry, is looking for a conscientious and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join their team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a longstanding organisation who have built a strong reputation for providing a first class quality and service to their customers and who are also extremely committed to investing in the development of their employees.The role involves the following responsibilities: Picking and packing of ordersUnpacking and processing stock deliveriesManagement of stock levelsStock checksLogging returns from customersSecurity of warehouse area and environmentCare and maintenance of warehouse equipmentOrdering of consumablesEnd of day stores proceduresRecycling of used consumablesBadging/labelling stockMaintaining warehouse layoutOccasionally using the company van to make urgent local deliveries and pallet drops to carrier depotLiaising with sales support, the technical department, carriers, vendors and customersAny other tasks that are requiredThe successful candidate will ideally have the following experience and knowledge: Ideally possess knowledge of warehouse operationsHold a UK driving licenseStrong written and verbal communication skillsPossess good organizational skills, with attention to ..... full job details .....
