Warehouse Assistant

Our team provides flexible services with batch and bespoke items for adults, paediatrics and neonates to both NHS and private hospitals.The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking organisation where sharing ideas and developing their people is how they have built their success.The RoleAs a Warehouse Assistant you will work as part of a team reporting to the Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring stock is available for production and finished products are packed and dispatched as per customer requirements.Your main duties will include:Managing Stock by maintaining stock levels, rotated stock appropriately dependent on expiry date and ensuring storage instructions are adhered to.Checking deliveries and reporting any discrepancies.Co-ordinating couriers to ensure the best turnaround time.The Person - Skills and qualities requiredApplicants must have experience of working in a warehouse and using a handheld scanning device.We are looking for a real problem solver who has the ability to use their own initiative. It is also essential that you are able to prioritise your time effectively when challenged with multiple deadlines.In addition, you will need good oral/telephone and written communication skills in English, be methodical in approach, able to demonstrate close attention to detail and concentrate for long periods of time.An appreciation of customer needs ..... full job details .....
