You will manage around a team of HGV drivers, alongside agency drivers and subcontractors, while working closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered on time. In particular, you will: - Manage the transport office, drivers, agency workers and subcontractors Oversee driver recruitment, training, performance and availability Ensure compliance with the Operator''s Licence, drivers'' hours, CPC, licences and medicals Maintain oversight of delivery plans, monitoring delivery progress and ensuring schedules remain on track. Take responsibility for route planning and schedule changes when the Transport Planner is absent, including covering driver sickness and last-minute changes Manage relationships with subcontractors, agencies and 3PL providers Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain smooth order fulfilment and deliveries Oversee warehouse staffing, rotas, stock management and...
