Warehouse and Packing Operative

Packing Operative We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Packing Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Rotherham, producing high-quality kitchen products. This is a varied, hands-on role involving packing, quality checking, computer work, data entry and operating a forklift truck (FLT).The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, basic IT skills and a strong work ethic. Previous FLT experience would be beneficial, although candidates willing to learn and undertake the necessary training will also be considered.Packing Operative BenefitsShift: Days and Afters Rotating - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pmRate of Pay: 15.93 per hourHours: 39 hours per week, paid weeklyStart Date: Monday 19th October 2026Contract: Temporary to PermanentLocation: RotherhamPacking Operative DutiesCarefully packing kitchen units, doors and accessories to ensure safe delivery.Quality checking products to ensure they meet required standards.Labelling, wrapping and preparing goods accurately for dispatch.Carrying out computer-based tasks and data entry, ensuring information is recorded accurately.Using IT systems to update product, stock and order information.Operating an FLT to move materials and products around the warehouse or manufacturing facility, once trained and authorised.Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.Following all health and safety procedures.Working independently ..... full job details .....
