Warehouse and Logistics OperativeA growing manufacturer and supplier of made-to-order furniture is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse and Logistics Operative to join its expanding team in Leyland.This is a hands-on, varied role that combines warehouse operations with occasional support for delivery activities. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring stock, warehouse processes, and deliveries operate smoothly and efficiently.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pmFriday: 7:00am - 4:00pmWeekend work required in line with business needsFlexibility with working hours is essentialKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, picking, and packingSupport delivery operations and assist drivers when requiredConduct stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records using the in-house systemMaintain high housekeeping standards throughout the warehouseFollow all health and safety procedures and company policiesAssist with basic furniture/product assembly when requiredWork independently and use initiative to complete tasks efficientlySupport the wider warehouse operation during busy periodsAbout YouPrevious warehouse experience is essentialFull UK driving licence requiredComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and good organisational skillsPositive, flexible, and team-focused attitudeWillingness to undertake forklift truck trainingFlexible approach to working hours, ..... full job details .....
