Warehouse & Stock Leader

Our Bedford based client are currently looking for a warehouse & stock lead to look after a small warehouse.  The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.30 to 4.30. This will be a permanent role.  The is a new position which you can make your own as would be dealing with all aspects of the warehouse operation..  

The job involves:-

• Implementing new ideas for the smooth running of the warehouse
• Using previous experience within a warehouse to make changes as and where required
• Leading procedures that may need to be made
• Also picking, packing & palletising
• Making sure there is adequate stock of each item to meet customer demand
• Must have a can do attitude towards work
• Supervisory experience would be advantageous but only managing 1 member of staff

The person specification:-

• Excellent organised skills
• Experience in warehouse systems & procedures
• Ideally hold a valid Counterbalance License
