An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operative to join a fast-growing manufacturing business based in Cheltenham. This is a hands-on role within a supportive team environment, offering full training, long-term progression opportunities, and the chance to develop specialist manufacturing skills.

You''ll be responsible for preparing and producing specialist protective products used across a range of industries. Working from plans, drawings, and specifications, you''ll measure, cut, prepare, and quality-check materials to ensure products are completed accurately and to a high standard.

This role would suit someone practical, reliable, and eager to learn within a busy manufacturing environment.

• Measuring, marking, and cutting materials to specification
• Preparing shrink wrap covers and production kits
• Preparing materials for sewing machinists and further assembly
• Operating welding machinery and manufacturing equipment following training
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and high standards
• Following drawings, plans, and production specifications
• Assisting with warehouse, handling, and stock movement duties
• Maintaining health & safety standards across the factory and warehouse
• Supporting the team to achieve production targets and deadlines
• Carrying out additional ad hoc warehouse and manufacturing duties as required

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred
• Hands-on and practical with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using tools, machinery, and handling materials
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills
• Able to follow instructions and work accurately from specifications
• Positive attitude with a strong team ethic
